The customary full-service listing commission in north-metro Atlanta is 6% with one-half (3%) offered to buyer agents. Sage Real Estate Advisors' listing commission is 5.5% with a 3% share offered to buyer agents. Unlike other brokerages, in cases where there is no buyer agent to pay, we waive 2% of our listing commission, resulting in a total commission of 3.5%.
We do not market our listings promoting potential commission savings or otherwise discourage buyer's from having agent representation. Our commission structure simply recognizes that where there is no buyer agent, the transaction shouldn't be burdened with unearned commissions.
